Every week we bring you a list of the top former RiverHawks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Gabriel Salibi (6'8''-G-1997, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Lebanon) led Antranik to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Batroun (0-4) 83-69 in the Lebanese DLBL in Thursday night's game.
He recorded 12 points and added 5 passes in 33 minutes.
Antranik Beirut (3-15) is placed ninth in the DLBL.
It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses.
The Regular Season already ended.
It's Salibi's first season with the team.
This year Salibi averages 10.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3spg in four games he played so far.
He has also Lebanese passport.
#2. Shakeil Bertrand (6'8''-F, played in 2021-24, plays in Guatemala) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked El Progreso (4-1) crushing them 91-71 in the Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana (second division) last Wednesday.
Bertrand scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Solola AsoBasketis placed fourth in the Liga Metropolitana.
It's Bertrand's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg and 8.0rpg.
