Every week we bring you a list of the top former Hawks players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Miles Tention (6'5''-G-1999, played in 2018-23, plays pro in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Wolmirstedt (1-4) crushing them 91-64 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game.
He scored 9 points and added 5 assists in 27 minutes.
Tigers Tuebingenis placed in the ProA.
This year Tention averages 10.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.6apg and 1.2spg in five games he played so far.
#2. Gustav Suhr-Jessen (6'7''-F-1998, played in 2018-22, plays in Denmark) could not help Copenhagen (3-4) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Suhr-Jessen's very good performance Copenhagen was defeated 94-85 on the road by the higher-ranked Svendborg (#6).
He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Suhr-Jessen also added 5 rebounds.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Suhr-Jessen's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season 12.1ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.4apg.
#3. Sean McCarthy (6'6''-F-2002, played in 2023-25, currently in Iceland) was the major contributor in Hottur's victory against the closely-ranked Hamar (0-5) 108-97 in the Icelandic Division I (second division) on Thursday night.
McCarthy scored 19 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in a mere 17 minutes. It was his first game for Hottur this season; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. His team is placed seventh in the Division I.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
#4. Danny Evans (6'4''-G-1997, played in 2018-20, plays pro in United Kingdom) managed to help Worthing Thunder to win against the fourth-ranked Hurricanes (0-3) 89-78 in the British BCB (second division) in Saturday night's game.
Evans scored only 3 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists.
Worthing Thunder (3-0) is placed second in Group 1.
So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
This season Evans averages 6.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.0apg and 1.5spg.
He has also British passport.
