Every week we bring you a list of the top former Hilltopper players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Lucas Doria (6'8''-C-1997, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Mexico) led Fuerza Regia Monterrey to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Correcaminos (0-2) crushing them 98-78 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Saturday night's game.
He scored 11 points (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in a mere 17 minutes.
Fuerza Regia Monterrey (2-0) is placed third in the LNBP.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Doria averages 8.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0apg in two games he played so far.
#2. Uche Dibiamaka (6'4''-G-1999, played in 2021-23, plays in Australia) could not help Brisbane Capitals (7-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Brisbane Capitals (7-3) were defeated 130-125 on the road by the lower-ranked Force (#8) in the North group.
Dibiamaka was the second best scorer with 26 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Dibiamaka has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.6ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.0apg.
Dibiamaka has also Australian citizenship.
#3. Corey Shervill (6'7''-F-1998, played in 2017-21, currently in Australia), who plays in the Australian NBL One (second division) was not able to help Lakeside Lightning (5-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the ninth-placed Lakeside Lightning (5-10) was badly defeated108-88 in Wonthella by the higher-ranked (#4) Buccaneers in the West group.
Shervill was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes.
It was Lakeside Lightning's fifth consecutive loss in a row.
Shervill has very impressive stats this year 19.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.5spg in 17 games.
#4. Glenn Morison (6'10''-C-1999, played in 2020-20, plays pro in Australia) led Canberra Basketball to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Sydney City Comets (7-10) crushing them 101-69 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Saturday night's game.
He scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Canberra Basketball (13-4) is placed second in East group.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This season Morison has very high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.4apg and 1.6bpg.
