EuroBasket Pro Rams Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Rams players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Cameron Campbell (6'4''-PG, played in 2019-22, plays pro in Kazakhstan) could not help Caspiy Aktau (14-14) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Caspiy Aktau lost 74-89 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Almaty Legion.
Campbell was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 5 assists in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Campbell's third season in pro basketball. Campbell has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.4ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.5apg and 2.0spg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Jaylen Alston (6'4''-G, played in 2019-24, plays in Germany) was not able to help Team Ehingen Urspring (6-19) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance the 14th-placed Team Ehingen Urspring (6-19) was defeated 81-68 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked Fellbach (#3) in the South group.
Alston recorded 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
This season Alston has very high stats. He averages 25.3ppg, 10.2rpg, 2.7apg and 2.5spg.
#3. Dy'Quavis Wilkins (6'5''-F-2001, played in 2023-24, currently in Albania) led Vllaznia to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Apolonia (9-11) crushing them 98-75 in the Albanian Superliga on Sunday night.
He scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Vllaznia Shkodra (7-11) is placed fourth in the Superliga.
Wilkins' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
Wilkins has very impressive stats this year 20.0ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.6apg in 18 games.
#4. Chris Witherspoon (6'0''-SG, played in 2011-13, plays pro in the ECBL) was not able to secure a victory for the Hickory Hoyas (4-4) in their game against the Carolina Thunder (5-0) in the ECBL. Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game Witherspoon scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists.
This season Witherspoon has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 4.5apg.
#5. Mason Harrell (6'8''-F/C-1997, played in 2018-20, plays in the TBL) led Raleigh Firebirds to a 3-point victory against the Jacksonville 95ers (1-9) 119-116 in the TBL last Saturday.
Harrell had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in a mere 18 minutes.
The Raleigh Firebirds have a very good 7-2 record this season.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Harrell has relatively good stats this year 11.6ppg, 10.8rpg and 2.8bpg in five games.
#6. Justin Glover (6'4''-F, played in 2011-13, currently in the ECBL) is a teammate of previously mentioned Chris Witherspoon and both played together in the last ECBL game.
Glover couldn't help the Hickory Hoyas in their game against the Carolina Thunder. Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game He scored 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
Glover has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.3apg.
#7. Rasheen Merlin (6'9''-F-1998, played in 2020-22, plays pro in the TBL) contributed to a Kokomo Bobkats' victory against the Lebanon Leprechauns 113-106 in the TBL in Thursday night's game.
He recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 15 minutes.
This year Merlin averages 3.3ppg and 1.8rpg in four games.
