EuroBasket Pro Rangers Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Rangers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Malik Parsons (6'3''-G-1999, played in 2021-23, plays pro in Germany) led Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt to a 1-point victory over the league outsider BG Goettingen (1-17) 95-94 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Parsons scored 24 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Fraport Skyliners Frankfurtis placed 11th in the BBL. It's Parsons' first year with the team. Parsons has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 3.3apg in four games he played so far.

   #2. Bryce Cashman (6'11''-C-1996, played in 2018-20, plays in Luxembourg) could not help Soleuvre (8-9) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Soleuvre was crushed90-64 at home by the second-ranked Black Frogs. Cashman was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 7 rebounds. Cashman's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. This season Cashman has very high stats. He averages 15.3ppg and 13.1rpg.

   #3. Brian Free (5'8''-PG, played in 2021-24, currently in Portugal) was the major contributor in a Santo Andre's victory against the eighth-ranked Galitos-Aveiro (1-17) crushing them 84-53 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) on Saturday night. He recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 29 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Free's first season in pro basketball. BSA-PSA Sines Santo Andre (10-8) is placed first in Places 9-16 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. The Second Stage already ended. It's Free's first year with the team. He has very impressive stats this season 20.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.9apg and 1.2spg in 15 games.

   #4. Matej Drgon (6'9''-F-1998, graduated '2022, plays pro in Austria) was not able to help Union Alligators Deutsch-Wagram in their game against Mustangs (16-2) in the Austrian 2.Bundesliga (second division). Despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Drgon also added 7 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Drgon has very high stats. He averages 15.6ppg and 7.4rpg.

Ravel Moody (6'6''-G, played in 2021-22) played for Kavanagh's Portlaoise Panthers in Irish Division 1 few monts ago
Eric Hancik (6'5''-G/F-2000, played in 2021-23) played for Enid Outlaws in the TBL last year
Marquise Milton (5'10''-PG-2000, played in 2022-24) played for Team Cleveland in the Eurobasket S.League last year
Larry White (6'6''-G/F-2000, played in 2021-24) played for Team New York in the Eurobasket S.League last year
