Here is the weekly review of the top performing Thorobreds alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Montrell Jacobs (6'3''-G, played in 2024-24, plays pro in Canada) led Derby City Distillers to a victory against the Leprechauns (5-18) 143-133 in the TBL on Friday night.
He scored 28 points (!!!) and blocked 2 blocks in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jacobs' first season in pro basketball. The Derby City Distillers have 9-7 record this season.
It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses.
It's Jacobs' first year with the team.
He has individually a very good season with high stats. Jacobs averages 17.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.0spg.
