EuroBasket Pro Yellow Jackets Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Yellow Jackets players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Taevon Horton (6'2''-G-1999, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Azerbaijan) could not help Gence in their last game. Despite Horton's good performance Gence was crushed97-62 on the road by the lower-ranked (#4) Neftci. He scored 10 points and added 4 passes in 23 minutes. It's Horton's first season with the team. Horton has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.4apg and 1.2spg in 15 games he played so far. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

   #2. Experienced William Collins (6'1''-G-1988, played in 2007-11, plays in the TBL) led West Virginia Grind to an easy victory against the Lebanon Leprechauns (0-5) crushing them 135-113 in the TBL last Friday. He scored 12 points and added 7 assists. The West Virginia Grind has 1-1 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Collins averages 8.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.0apg and 2.0spg. Collins attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

   #3. Bradlee Lewis (6'4''-SG-1998, played in 2021-22, currently in the TBL) was not able to help the Santa Ana Thunder in their game against the Shreveport Mavericks (4-1) in the TBL. He scored 9 points in 32 minutes. It was his first game for Santa Ana Thunder this season. But the Santa Ana Thunder (#6) lost 100-107 in Louisiana to the Shreveport Mavericks. But the season just started, so everything may happen.

   #4. Frank Agyemang (6'4''-G-1996, graduated '2020, plays pro in the TBL) is a teammate of previously mentioned William Collins. But that was another game of his team in TBL which we would like to mention. Agyemang was not able to secure a victory for the West Virginia Grind (1-1) in their game against the Frederick Flying Cows (4-1). His contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game. Agyemang recorded only 3 points. The West Virginia Grind (#6) was badly defeated104-88 in Frederick by the Flying Cows. This season Agyemang averages 1.5ppg.
