EuroBasket Pro Falcons Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Falcons players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Jaedon Willis (6'0''-PG, played in 2021-23, plays pro in Denmark) led Svendborg to an easy victory against the league outsider Amager (1-19) crushing them 123-94 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Thursday night's game. He recorded 15 points and added 3 assists (made all of his six free throws) in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Willis' first season in pro basketball. Svendborg Rabbits (16-4) is placed fourth in the BasketLigaen. The Regular Season already ended. Willis has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.0ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.9apg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Hamish Warden (6'8''-F-1999, played in 2017-19, plays in Switzerland) led Lugano to an easy victory against the league outsider Starwings (1-18) crushing them 121-92 in the Swiss SBL last Wednesday. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lugano Tigers (8-11) are placed seventh in the SBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Warden has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.2apg. He has also Swiss citizenship.

   #3. Will Vorhees (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2014-19, currently in the NBA G League), who plays in the NBA G League could not help the Indiana Mad Ants (27-10) to beat the Stockton Kings (18-17). He scored 9 points in only 12 minutes. But the Indiana Mad Ants lost 113-125 on the road to the Kings. This year Vorhees averages 4.8ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg in 16 games. Worth to mention Vorhees played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

   #4. Panos Karras (6'4''-G-2002, graduated '2023, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to help Loughborough Riders in their game against Rockets (5-7) in the British NBL D1 (second division). He scored 7 points and blocked 2 shots. Loughborough Riders was defeated 85-80 in Reading by the lower-ranked Rockets (#9). It's Karras' first season with the team. This year Karras averages 3.4ppg and 1.1rpg.

Marco Colombo (6'5''-SF-1989, played in 2014-14) plays for Milano3 in Italian Serie C
Bruce Hodges (6'2''-SG) played for Burning River Buckets in the ABA few monts ago
Brandin Tucker (6'4''-F, played in 2019-20) played for ESL Camp in the Eurobasket S.League last year
