Every week we bring you a list of the top former Lions players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Javonte Cooke (6'6''-G-1999, played in 2018-21, plays pro in the NBA G League) could not help the Iowa Wolves (8-16) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Iowa Wolves (#13) were defeated 115-111 on the road by the Salt Lake City Stars. Cooke recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 40 minutes. It's Cooke's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1bpg.

   #2. Valentin Bauer (6'0''-G-1994, played in 2014-17, plays in Austria) contributed to an IMMOunited Dukes Klosterneuburg's victory against the eighth-ranked BC Vienna (8-8) 96-92 in the Austrian BSL in Sunday night's game. Bauer scored 7 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 10 assists. IMMOunited Dukes Klosterneuburg (16-2) is placed first in the BSL. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Bauer's seventh season with the team. This year he averages 8.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 6.6apg and 1.6spg in 18 games he played so far.

   #3. Jackson Reid (6'4''-G-1999, graduated '2023, currently in Azerbaijan) led Serhedci to an easy victory against the league outsider Sheki (0-11) crushing them 112-82 in the Azerbaijani ABL last Wednesday. Reid scored 16 points in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Serhedci PIK Baku (4-7) is placed seventh in the ABL. The Regular Season already ended. It's Reid's first year with the team. Reid has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.9ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.0apg.

   #4. Isayah Johnson (6'7''-F-1998, played in 2019-19, plays pro in Chile) was not able to help Liceo PN (0-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance Liceo PN lost 66-75 in Puerto Montt to the higher-ranked (#7) Puerto Montt. Johnson recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. It was his first game for Liceo PN this season. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Johnson's first year with the team.

Ja'Shawn Brooks (6'3''-G-1996, played in 2017-17) played for New Basket in Kosovan Liga e pare last year
