Every week we bring you a list of the top former Mustangs players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Eduardo Giron (6'5''-SG-1997, played in 2016-20, plays pro in Mexico) could not help Correcaminos UAT Victoria (1-19) in their game last Thursday. Despite his good performance the seventh-placed Correcaminos UAT Victoria (1-19) was crushed99-75 on the road by the higher-ranked Astros (#3) in the East group.
Giron was the second best scorer with 14 points in 27 minutes.
This season Giron averages 7.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg.
He has also Mexican nationality.
#2. Andres Andrade (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2019-23, plays in Spain) was not able to help Quintanar in their game against Rivas (2-1) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division), despite his good performance in Saturday night's game.
Andrade scored 10 points.
But the tenth-placed Quintanar (1-2) lost 62-66 on the opponent's court to the much higher-ranked (#3) Rivas in the Group B-B.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Andrade's first year with the team.
This season he averages 7.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 2.0apg in three games he played so far.
#3. Nathan Pelissier (6'5''-F, played in 2019-21, currently in France) was not able to secure a victory for Rueil Athletic Club Basket (2-3) in their game against C'Chartres (0-2) in the French NM1 (third division). It was not Pelissier's best game last Friday.
He scored only 2 points in 15 minutes.
The 12th-placed Rueil Athletic Club Basket (2-3) was defeated 83-72 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked C'Chartres (#11) in the Group A.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Pelissier averages 3.6ppg and 1.2rpg.
#4. Olamide Pedersen (6'9''-C-1997, graduated '2023, plays pro in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Kangaroos (2-2) crushing them 80-55 in the German ProB (third division) on Saturday night.
He recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
BBC Coburg (2-2) is placed fourth in South group.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Pedersen has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 8.3rpg and 2.5bpg in four games.
