EuroBasket Pro Seawolves Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Seawolves alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Spencer Svejcar (6'4''-F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Czech Republic) could not help SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (17-19) in their game last Monday. Despite his good performance the seventh-placed SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (17-19) was defeated 87-76 on the road by the second-ranked Basketbal Svitavy in the Places 1-8 group. Svejcar was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 30 minutes. Svejcar has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.9apg.

   #2. Experienced Kenny Barker (6'3''-G-86, graduated '09, plays in Cyprus) contributed to Keravnos' victory against the league leader AEK Larnaca (17-4) 89-81 in the Cypriot Division A in Tuesday night's game. Barker scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Keravnos Strovolou (13-1) is placed first in the Division A. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. This year Barker averages 9.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg in 15 games he played so far.

   #3. Kevin White (6'3''-G-87, graduated '10, currently in Australia) was the major contributor in a Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' victory against the eighth-ranked Panthers (4-4) crushing them 107-72 in the Australian State League (second division) last Saturday. White scored 20 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 26 minutes. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (6-2) are placed third in WARATAH group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. White has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.6ppg, 7.8rpg, 5.8apg and 2.8spg.

   #4. Steven White (6'0''-G-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Australia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Kevin White and both played together in the last Australian State League game. White led Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Panthers (4-4) crushing them 107-72. He scored 17 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It's White's eighth season with the team. White has very impressive stats this year 15.7ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.8apg in six games.
