Here is the weekly review of the top performing Cowboys alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Chris Newsome (6'2''-G-90, graduated '11, plays pro in Philippines) could not help Meralco Bolts (3-7) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his good performance Meralco Bolts were defeated 92-77 on the road by the higher-ranked Alaska Aces (#8). Newsome scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 27 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Newsome's fourth season with the team. Newsome has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 7.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.2spg.

#2. Momcilo Latinovic (6'6''-SG-89, graduated '12, plays in United Kingdom) was not able to help Cheshire Phoenix in their game against Newcastle Eagles (7-10) in the British BBL. He scored 7 points. Cheshire Phoenix lost 78-90 in Newcastle to the lower-ranked (#6) Eagles. It's Latinovic's first season with the team. Latinovic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.4spg in 25 games he played so far. Latinovic has also Hungarian passport.

#3. Mike Nwabuzor (6'2''-G, graduated '18, currently in Germany) led Dorsten to a victory over the eighth-ranked Ibbenbueren (11-13) 97-81 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) last Saturday. Nwabuzor was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and making 10 passes. Nwabuzor also added 6 rebounds in 39 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. BG Dorsten (17-7) is placed fourth in West group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Nwabuzor has very high stats. He averages 23.0ppg, 8.5rpg, 5.5apg and 2.3spg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

#4. Javier Menendez-Garcia (6'7''-PF-97, graduated '18, plays pro in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Gijon (10-17) in their game against Moron (13-15) in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division). He scored 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The tenth-placed Gijon (10-17) was edged 77-74 at home by the higher-ranked (#8) Moron in the West group. It was Gijon's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Menendez-Garcia's first season with the team. This year Menendez-Garcia averages 6.4ppg and 5.9rpg in 23 games.
