We bring you last week's top former Screaming Eagles players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Jamar Smith (6'3''-G-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Russia) could not help Unics Kazan (14-4) in their last game. Despite his good performance Unics Kazan was edged 98-95 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Astana. Smith scored 12 points and added 4 passes in only a mere 14 minutes. It was Unics Kazan's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Smith has relatively good stats this year 12.1ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.6apg in 18 games he played so far.

#2. Aaron Nelson (6'9''-F-91, graduated '14, plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Byblos in their game against Beirut Club (8-4) in the Lebanese LBL. Despite his very good performance on Thursday night Nelson was the top scorer with 29 points. He also added 9 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. It's Nelson's first season with the team. Nelson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.6ppg, 9.7rpg, 2.6apg and 1.3spg.

#3. Experienced Reque Newsome (6'9''-PF-81, graduated '05, currently in Uruguay) was not able to secure a victory for Olimpia (0-1) in their game against Hebraica (1-0) in the Uruguayan LUB. He recorded 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. The third-placed Olimpia (0-1) lost 94-108 in a derby game to the leading Hebraica in the Places 7-10 group. This year Newsome averages 8.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1bpg in 24 games. He is a naturalized Uruguayan.

#4. Danny Gibson (5'10''-PG-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Turkey) couldn't help Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket (6-12) in their game against Besiktas (10-8) in the Turkish BSL. His contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. Gibson recorded only 2 points. Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket was defeated 90-84 in Istanbul by the higher-ranked Besiktas (#7). It was Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket's fourth consecutive loss in a row. This season Gibson averages 9.4ppg, 1.7rpg and 4.1apg.

#5. Dayjar Dickson (6'9''-F, graduated '18, plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Sturt Sabres (0-2) crushing them 101-66 in the Australian State League (second division) last Sunday. Dickson recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. Mount Gambier Pioneers (1-1) are placed fifth in Premier League. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Dickson averages 9.4ppg, 1.7rpg and 4.1apg in 10 games.

#6. Jeril Taylor (6'4''-G-94, graduated '17, currently in Luxembourg) was the major contributor in a Musel Pikes' victory against the fourth-ranked Contern crushing them 99-58 in the Luxembourg Total League on Saturday night. Taylor recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. This season Taylor has very high stats. He averages 25.8ppg, 12.3rpg, 4.3apg and 2.0spg.
