EuroBasket Pro Skyhawks Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Skyhawks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. DeAndre Lansdowne (6'2''-G-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Germany) could not help Basketball Loewen Braunschweig (5-4) in their game last Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Basketball Loewen Braunschweig was defeated 82-74 on the road by the lower-ranked ALBA Berlin (#4). Lansdowne was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 4 steals in 32 minutes. Lansdowne has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 19.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.3apg and 1.7spg.

   #2. Alex Herrera (6'9''-C-92, graduated '15, plays in Germany) contributed to a Phoenix Hagen's victory against the closely-ranked Hamburg (15-7) 77-64 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 11 rebounds. Herrera also added 4 blocks. Phoenix Hagen (7-5) is placed fifth in the ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Herrera has very impressive stats this year 15.3ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8bpg in 21 games he played so far.

   #3. Kofi Josephs (6'6''-G-91, graduated '16, currently in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan was not able to help Nassjo (11-18) in their game last Saturday. Despite Josephs' good performance Nassjo was defeated 85-73 in Koping by the one of league's weakest teams Stars (#9). He scored 10 points in 17 minutes. It was his first game for Nassjo this season.

   #4. Rasmus Bach (6'4''-G, graduated '14, plays pro in Denmark) was not able to secure a victory for Randers (12-10) in their game against Naestved (13-8) in the Danish BasketLigaen. Bach scored 6 points. The fifth-placed Randers (12-10) was crushed 113-91 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#4) Naestved in the ProA group. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Bach has relatively good stats this year 10.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.9apg and 1.6spg in 22 games. He has also Danish nationality.
