Dalton State wins 2020 SSAC Championship - Mar 8, 2020

No. 2 seed Dalton State (Ga.) defeated No. 4 seed Loyola (La.) 79-70 to win the 2020 SSAC Men's Basketball Championship, presented by Newk's Eatery.

News & Notes
Dalton State claims the league's second automatic bid to the 2020 NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship, after Faulkner earned the first bid with their regular season title
Loyola will await word on an at-large bid after reaching the title game for the second-straight year
Loyola built an early 22-12 lead and led for much of the half before Dalton State tied it up at 37-37 at the break
The Wolf Pack scored first in the second half and the Roadrunners did not grab their first lead of the period until a C.J. Perry 3-pointer made it 64-63 with 4:40 to play. They stretched that to as many as 10 at the 29 second mark
