A 13-0 run got CBC within three points (37-34) with 14:45 remaining. After the teams traded bucket over the next six-plus minutes, the Mustangs were able to tie the game at 46-46 with 7:29 remaining in regulation. The Cougars would never trail in the second half and a pair of free throws from Dogukan Kara (5'10''-PG) with 47-seconds left put the Cougar lead up to eight and out of reach.
