Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Roadrunners players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Serbian Aleksandar Pantelic, a 27-year-old guard/forward standing at 6'6'' and a graduate of Dalton St. in 2021, showcased his basketball prowess by leading Mladost to a remarkable victory over the sixth-ranked Leotar with a score of 76-70 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I last Saturday. In this game, Pantelic proved his mettle as he was named the MVP, scoring 19 points, pulling down 5 rebounds, and dishing out 1 assist in 31 minutes of play. This stellar performance not only secured the win for his team but also solidified his status as a true champion on the court. KK Mladost Mrkonjic Grad, currently positioned 12th in the league with an 8-16 record, has seen Pantelic shine in his first season with the team. Despite the team's placement, Pantelic's individual contributions have been outstanding throughout the season, averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 22 games he has played so far. His consistent high-level play has undoubtedly made him a standout finalist in the league.
#2. Serbian player Igor Stokic, a 6'7'' forward aged 26 and an alum of Roadrunners from 2022, currently competes professionally in Bosnia. He was honored with the SSAC All-Champions of Character Team award in the mentioned year. Stokic, a teammate of the previously mentioned Aleksandar Pantelic, recently played alongside him in the final Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I game. In a remarkable display of skill, Stokic played a crucial role in Mladost's unexpected triumph over the sixth-ranked Leotar by a score of 76-70. During the game, he showcased his talent by scoring 10 points and securing 4 rebounds in just 27 minutes of play. This victory marked his first season with the team and highlighted his significant contribution on the court. Throughout the season, Stokic has maintained impressive statistics, averaging 10.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in 15 appearances. His consistent performance and valuable contributions have solidified his position as a key player for the team.
#3. German Leroy Ikejiaku, a talented 6'10'' center who graduated from Dalton St. in 2025, played a crucial role in helping his team win the SSAC East Division Regular Season Champion title that year. He has since transitioned to playing professionally in Germany. In a recent game for BBC Bayreuth, Ikejiaku faced a tough matchup against Phoenix Hagen in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA, the second division of German basketball. Despite his efforts, BBC Bayreuth was unable to secure a victory, falling short to Phoenix Hagen with a close score of 91-95 on the road. During the game, Ikejiaku struggled to make a significant impact, scoring only 2 points in 17 minutes of play. This game may not be considered one of his best performances, but he still managed to contribute with 2 rebounds and 1 assist. As the Regular Season is nearing its end with only two games left, every match becomes crucial for Ikejiaku and his team. This season marks Ikejiaku's debut with BBC Bayreuth, where he has been averaging 3.5 points per game and 1.7 rebounds per game across 32 games. Despite the challenging game against Phoenix Hagen, Ikejiaku continues to work hard and strive for success both individually and as part of his team.
