#1. Hussayn Ford (6'6''-F-1996, played in 2019-20, plays pro in Australia) was the major contributor in a Warwick Senators' victory against the 13th-ranked Slammers (0-6) crushing them 91-70 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 17 points and had 4 steals in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ford's first season in pro basketball. Warwick Senators (4-2) are placed fifth in West group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Ford averages 9.6ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.9spg in seven games he played so far.
#2. Michael Dupree (6'1''-G, played in 2015-17, plays in Australia) could not help Goldfields Giants (2-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Dupree's very good performance the tenth-placed Goldfields Giants (2-5) were defeated 95-83 on the road by the lower-ranked Redbacks (#12) in the West group. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Dupree also added 5 rebounds. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Dupree has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.7spg.
#3. Kelvin Omojola (6'0''-G-1997, played in 2019-21, currently in Germany) was not able to help PS Karlsruhe Lions in their game against Artland Dragons (19-15) in the German ProA (second division). He scored 5 points in 10 minutes. PS Karlsruhe Lions was crushed103-75 in Quakenbrueck by the lower-ranked (#5) Artland Dragons. It's Omojola's first season with the team. This year Omojola averages 3.2ppg in 36 games. He is a naturalized German.
#4. Alex Smith (6'8''-F-1991, played in 2015-19, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to secure a victory for the Bakersfield Majestics in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the Bakersfield Majestics (#9) were badly defeated113-96 in Carson by the South Bay Flash. Smith scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Smith has relatively good stats this season 11.2ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.2apg.
