#1. Manuel Canaval (6'9''-C-1993, played in 2015-15, plays pro in Colombia) led Cimarrones del Choco to an easy victory against the league outsider Sabios (2-17) crushing them 120-86 in the Colombian Liga WPlay on Saturday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 29 rebounds. Canaval also added 7 assists and 2 blocks in 23 minutes. Cimarrones del Choco (8-9) is placed fifth in the Liga WPlay. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Canaval's first season with the team. This year he averages 2.4ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.4apg.
#2. Auston Chatman (6'7''-G/F-2001, played in 2022-24, plays in Georgia). He could not help Iverioni (3-2) to beat Batumi (3-1) in the Georgian Superleague. Chatman scored 7 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Iverioni was badly defeated104-87 at home by the second-ranked Batumi. It's Chatman's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.6apg and 2.0spg in five games he played so far. Chatman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#3. Braxton Lovings (6'0''-PG, played in 2021-23, currently in Ukraine) was not able to help Krivbas in their game against Zaporizhye (2-7) in the Ukrainian Superleague. He recorded 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 34 minutes. Krivbas was edged75-73 on their home court in Kryvyi Rih by the one of league's weakest teams Zaporizhye (#7). Lovings' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Lovings' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.4apg and 2.0spg.
#4. Kalil Potts (6'3''-G, played in 2024-24, plays pro in Montenegro) was not able to secure a victory for the league outsider Susanj (0-6) in their game against Ibar (3-4) in the Montenegrin Erste Liga. His contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. Potts scored only 2 points. Susanj was crushed108-87 on the road by the higher-ranked (#9) Ibar. So far Susanj lost all six games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Potts averages 8.7ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.5apg in six games.
