#1. Rodrigo Soares (6'4''-G-2000, played in 2023-24, plays pro in Portugal) was the major contributor in Galomar's victory against the fifth-ranked Benfica U23 (3-3) 72-70 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 16 points, grabbed 8 boards, passed 8 assists and added 3 steals in 35 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Soares' third season in pro basketball. AD Galomar (4-2) is placed third in South group. Soares has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 7.8rpg, 5.8apg and 1.6spg in five games he played so far.
#2. Torren Jones (6'9''-F/C-1994, played in 2016-17, plays in Lebanon) could not help NSA (5-13) in their last game on Friday. Despite Jones' very good performance NSA was badly defeated103-86 on the road by the higher-ranked Maristes (#5). He was the second best scorer with 20 points. Jones also added 8 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Jones' first season with the team. Jones has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg and 7.3rpg.
#3. Justin Bradley (6'5''-F, played in 2023-25, currently in Thailand) was not able to help Bangkok Wolverines in their game against W.Nonthaburi (5-3) in the Thailand TGBL (third division). Bradley recorded 8 points and added 3 assists in 33 minutes. The sixth-placed Bangkok Wolverines (4-5) were crushed97-60 by the higher-ranked (#4) W.Nonthaburi in the Fire Division. Bradley has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.0apg in four games. He is a naturalized Japanese.
#4. Larontae Mormant (6'9''-F, played in 2021-24, plays pro in Thailand) managed to help Thailand Goblins to win against the seventh-ranked Demons (4-6) crushing them 107-64 in the Thailand TGBL (third division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 5 points. Thailand Goblins (8-2) are placed second in Water Division. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Mormant averages 1.5ppg and 1.5rpg.
