#1. TreVion Crews (6'0''-PG-1996, played in 2018-21, plays pro in Germany) led JobStairs Giessen 46ers to a victory against the league outsider Artland Dragons (1-10) 92-80 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. He recorded 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Crews' third season in pro basketball. JobStairs Giessen 46ersis placed in the ProA. This season Crews averages 7.3ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.5apg.
#2. Tanguy Touze (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2022-23, plays in France) led BC Orchies to a victory over the 13th-ranked Feurs (5-11) 88-84 in the French NM1 (third division) in Tuesday night's game. Touze was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and added 5 assists; not bad, considering it's only Touze's first season in pro basketball. BC Orchies (7-2) is placed first in Group B. It's Touze's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.6apg in 11 games he played so far.
#3. Zac Owens (5'11''-PG-1998, played in 2020-22, currently in Portugal), who plays in the Portuguese Liga Betclic could not help Portimonense (5-4) to beat FC Porto (8-0). Owens scored 9 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 19 minutes. But Portimonense was defeated 88-75 on the road by the leading FC Porto. It was Portimonense's third consecutive loss in a row. It's Owens' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.5apg and 2.5spg.
#4. Chikara Tanaka (6'2''-G-2002, played in 2022-23, plays pro in Japan) was not able to help Yokohama B-Corsairs in their game against Tochigi Brex (15-4) in the Japanese B1 League. His contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game. Tanaka scored only 2 points. The sixth-placed Yokohama B-Corsairs (7-12) were crushed86-53 in Tochigi by the second-ranked Brex in the Central group. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Tanaka's first year with the team. This season he averages 2.0ppg in six games.
