#1. Tajh Green (6'8''-F-1998, played in 2016-19, plays pro in United Kingdom) could not help Newcastle Eagles (5-2) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Newcastle Eagles was defeated 96-92 on the road by the leading Bakken. Green recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added and 4 steals in 39 minutes. Green has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.2spg.
#2. Jalen Nesbitt (6'6''-SG-1993, played in 2012-13, plays in Kosovo) led Ylli to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked Peja (17-8) 73-72 in the Kosovan Superliga in Saturday night's game. Nesbitt was MVP of the game. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Golden Eagle Ylli (16-9) is placed third in the Superliga. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Nesbitt's first season with the team. Nesbitt has relatively good stats this year 14.4ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5spg in 23 games he played so far.
#3. Tyler Brevard (6'3''-G-1998, played in 2016-18, currently in Georgia) contributed to Burji's victory against the closely-ranked Sokhumi (7-3) 94-86 in the Georgian A League (second division) last Friday. He scored 10 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 27 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Burji Telavi (4-4) is placed third in the A League. Brevard's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Brevard's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Brevard averages 15.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.9apg and 1.8spg. Brevard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#4. Alphonso Willis (6'2''-G-1998, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Azerbaijan) led Neftci to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Gence crushing them 97-62 in the Azerbaijani ABL on Wednesday night. Willis had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 6 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Willis' second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Neftci IK Bakuis placed fourth in the ABL. Willis has very impressive stats this year 17.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 6.0apg and 2.0spg in three games.
