We bring you last week's top former Rams players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. In the recent game against Kingdom Life Basketball Club, D'Monte Evans, a 6'3'' forward who graduated from Bluefield in 2020 and currently plays professionally in the ECBL, showcased his skills for the Carolina Crusaders. Despite his notable performance, where he scored 26 points, provided 6 assists, and made 3 steals, the Carolina Crusaders were narrowly defeated 112-110 on the road. Evans emerged as the second-best scorer of the game.
As the East Coast Basketball League Regular Season nears its conclusion with only three games remaining, each match is becoming increasingly crucial for the teams. Evans has been consistently delivering strong performances throughout the season, boasting impressive averages of 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game in the 10 games he has played so far. Despite his individual success, Evans will need to continue his stellar play to help the Carolina Crusaders secure victories in the remaining games and strive towards becoming the champion.
