EuroBasket Pro Maple Leafs Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Maple Leafs players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Demarkus Stuckey Jr. (6'0''-PG-1995, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Serbia). He could not help Vojvodina NS (3-3) to beat Radnicki KG (4-2) in the Serbian KLS.
Stuckey Jr. scored 7 points and added 6 passes in 25 minutes.
Vojvodina NS lost 96-100 on the road to the higher-ranked (#5) Radnicki KG.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Stuckey Jr.'s first year with the team.
This season he averages 8.0ppg and 4.2apg in six games he played so far.
#2. Xavier Newson (6'5''-SG-1995, played in 2016-17, plays in Spain) led Penarroya to a victory over the seventh-ranked City of Badajoz Academy (2-4) crushing them 72-43 in the Spanish Tercera FEB (fourth division) last Saturday.
He was MVP of the game. Newson scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Dehesas Reunidas Climanavas Penarroya (1-4) is placed ninth in Group D-B.
The Regular Season already ended.
It's Newson's first season with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Newson averages 19.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.2apg.
He is a naturalized Spaniard.
