Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bobcats alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Sayvon Traylor (6'5''-G-2000, played in 2022-24, plays pro in Ukraine) could not help Rivne (3-0) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance Rivne was defeated 79-67 on the road by the second-ranked Kyiv Basket.
Traylor was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added made 3 passes and 3 steals (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 28 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Traylor's first season with the team.
Traylor has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.0apg and 2.1spg.
#2. Carlos Hines (6'5''-G-1999, played in 2023-25, plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sayvon Traylor. But that was another game of his team in Ukrainian Superleague which we would like to mention.
Hines was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Rivne (3-4) in their last game. Despite his good performance Rivne lost 70-74 at home to the higher-ranked (#5) Cherkasy.
Hines recorded 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
This year Hines averages 8.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.4apg in seven games he played so far.
#3. William Lybaek (6'2''-G-1997, played in 2020-21, currently in Norway) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams TNT Towers (1-6) crushing them 82-58 in the Norwegian BLNO last Sunday.
Lybaek scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 15 minutes.
Fyllingen BBK (5-1) is placed second in the BLNO.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Lybaek's first year with the team.
This season he averages 7.5ppg and 1.8rpg.
#4. Goncalo Fonseca (6'3''-G-2004, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Portugal) was not able to secure a victory for Santo Andre (0-4) in their game against CAB Madeira (1-3) in the Portuguese Proliga (second division). Fonseca's contribution was not very remarkable in Saturday's game.
He scored only 2 points.
The eighth-placed Santo Andre (0-4) lost 79-85 in Funchal to the lower-ranked (#9) CAB Madeira in the South group.
So far Santo Andre lost all four games in the Regular Season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Fonseca's first year with the team.
This season Fonseca averages 2.3ppg in four games.
