EuroBasket Pro Mustangs Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Mustangs players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Zachery Hudson (6'8''-PF-1997, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Australia) could not help Hills Hornets (4-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the tenth-placed Hills Hornets (4-6) were badly defeated94-74 on the road by the lower-ranked (#13) Bruins in the East group. Hudson had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 25 minutes. Hudson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.9apg, 1.7bpg and 2.0spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #2. Percell Washington (6'6''-C/F-1996, played in 2016-19, plays in the TBL) was not able to help the Little Rock Lightning (6-10) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the Little Rock Lightning (#3) was defeated 125-113 in Shawnee by the Potawatomi Fire. Washington recorded 12 points. There are only two games left until the end of the TBL Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Washington's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3apg.

   #3. Braylon Steen (6'6''-G/F-1999, played in 2021-23, currently in the TBL) is a teammate of previously mentioned Percell Washington and both played together in the last TBL game. Steen was not able to secure a victory for the Little Rock Lightning (6-10) in their game against the Potawatomi Fire (19-1). He recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 28 minutes. The Little Rock Lightning (#3) lost 113-125 in Shawnee to the Potawatomi Fire. Steen has very impressive stats this year 16.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.1apg and 1.7spg in 12 games.

   #4. Preston Whitfield (6'1''-G-1997, played in 2020-21, plays pro in the TBL) was the major contributor in a Salem Capitals' victory against the Willamette Valley Jaguars (1-17) crushing them 139-98 in the TBL in Friday night's game. He recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. The Salem Capitals have 11-12 record this season. Whitfield's team will play only one more game in the TBL Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season Whitfield has very high stats. He averages 18.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.9spg.

Rashad Allen (6'4''-G, played in 2020-23) plays for Cair 2030 in North Macedonian Prva Liga
Tajuan Johnson (6'3''-G, played in 2019-23) played for Little Rock Lightning in the TBL few monts ago
James Moore (6'8''-F-1997, played in 2021-23) plays for Soles de Ojinaga in Mexican LBE
Mayan Kiir (6'9''-F/C-1998, played in 2021-22) plays for Blackburn Vikings in Australian Big V
Kenny Barnes (6'5''-F, played in 2018-19) plays for Novastars of Southern California in the ABA
Ruston Hayward (6'5''-SF-1993, played in 2018-19) played for Potawatomi Fire in the TBL last year
