Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jalon Perry (6'1''-G-1998, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Kazakhstan) led Irbis to a victory over the closely-ranked Barsy Atyrau (1-1) 81-75 in the Kazakhstan National League in Friday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Perry scored 38 points (!!!) and added 4 passes in 39 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Irbis Almaty (2-2) is placed third in the National League.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Perry's first year with the team.
Perry has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 24.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3bpg and 1.5spg in four games he played so far.
