EuroBasket Pro Conquistadors Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Conquistadors alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Ryan Blanchett (6'8''-F/C-1996, played in 2014-18, plays pro in Australia) led Geraldton Buccaneers to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Suns (1-7) crushing them 93-70 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Sunday night's game.
He recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 28 minutes.
Geraldton Buccaneers (7-0) are placed first in West group.
So far his team won all seven games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Blanchett averages 7.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.5apg in six games he played so far.
#2. Jordan Cardenas (6'9''-C-1998, played in 2019-20, plays in Chile) could not help one of league's weakest teams Puerto Montt (0-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Puerto Montt was defeated 83-68 on the road by the higher-ranked Valdivia (#5).
Cardenas recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 3 steals.
The Regular Season already ended.
Cardenas has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.3apg.
#3. Manyiel Wugol (6'6''-G/F-1999, played in 2022-23, currently in Australia), who plays in the Australian NBL One (second division) was not able to help the league outsider Southwest Slammers (0-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the 13th-placed Southwest Slammers (0-8) lost 80-92 in Floreat to the higher-ranked (#7) Hawks in the West group.
Wugol was the second best scorer with 16 points in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. So far Southwest Slammers lost all eight games in the Regular Season.
It's Wugol's first year with the team.
Wugol has relatively good stats this season 11.7ppg and 2.1rpg in nine games.
He has also Australian nationality.
#4. Kenneth Santos (6'1''-G-1998, played in 2017-21, plays pro in Puerto Rico) was not able to secure a victory for Aguada (5-11) in their game against Gigantes (6-7) in the Puerto Rican BSN.
Santos scored 6 points.
The fifth-placed Aguada (5-11) was edged92-89 in Carolina by the higher-ranked Gigantes (#4) in the Group A.
It was Aguada's fifth consecutive loss in a row.
This season Santos averages 2.2ppg.
