EuroBasket Pro Yellowjackets Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Yellowjackets players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Carson Newsome (6'7''-F/G-1998, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Mexico) could not help Caballeros de Culiacan (1-6) in their last game. Despite Newsome's good performance the bottom-ranked Caballeros de Culiacan was crushed95-74 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) Angeles.
He scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) in 23 minutes.
It was Caballeros de Culiacan's sixth consecutive loss in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Newsome averages 10.0ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.2apg in six games he played so far.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Tramarcus Levi (6'7''-F-1997, played in 2023-23, plays in Belize) was not able to help Belmopan Trojans (1-4) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Levi's very good performance Belmopan Trojans was badly defeated88-71 in San Pedro by the higher-ranked Tiger Sharks (#4).
He was the second best scorer with 19 points. It was his first game for Belmopan Trojans this season.
#3. Seth Compas (6'3''-G-2000, played in 2021-23, currently in Germany) contributed to a BG 2000 Berlin's victory against the 14th-ranked Ballers (4-18) 76-63 in the German ProB (third division) on Saturday night.
He recorded 7 points and added 3 passes in only 13 minutes.
BG 2000 Berlin (14-9) is placed fifth in North group.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Compas' first season with the team.
Compas has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg and 3.1rpg in nine games.
#4. CJ Wilson (5'11''-PG-1999, played in 2021-23, plays pro in the TBL) managed to help Pontiac Pharaohs to win against the Glass City Wranglers (0-5) 112-105 in the TBL in Friday night's game.
He scored only 2 points. It was his first game for Pontiac Pharaohs this season.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group Midwest. His team have 3-0 record this season.
So far Pontiac Pharaohs won all three games in the Regular Season.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Wilson attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
