The Cincinnati Christian University (CCU) men's basketball team defeated the No.2 nationally ranked Indiana University - Southeast Grenadiers, 83-71 on Saturday afternoon to capture the KIAC Conference championship and secure a spot in the 23rd Annual NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament. CCU was led in scoring by senior guard Mike Hill (6'0''-G) (Western Hills H.S.) with 21 points. Sophomore forward Kenny Gaynor (6'7''-F) (Middletown Christian) contributed 18 points and Mitch McLeish (6'2''-G) (Ryle High School) added 17 points. CCU has a 20-13 record and captures its first KIAC conference tournament title. CCU will await its seeding in the NAIA National tournament which will be held in Lookout, MO, March 12-18, 2014
