First defeat of league's leader Stallions (1-1) against leader London Lightning (9-0) 109-95 was the most important game of the last round. London Lightning outrebounded Stallions 52-39 including 41 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Stallions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Jordanian forward Cameron Forte (201-1993, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Jaylon Tate (190-1995, college: Illinois, agency: Green Sports Management) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. London Lightning's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian point guard Christian Nobles (175-1992, college: USC Aiken) answered with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) added 23 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Stallions. Five London Lightning and four Stallions players scored in double figures. London Lightning have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Stallions at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Indiana All-Am.. Stallions will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. London Lightning will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Titans in Kitchener.
