The National Basketball League (Canada) was a continuation of Canadian teams of the World Basketball League which folded after the 1992 season.
The National Basketball League (Canada) played only one and a half seasons in 1993 and 1994. Another National Basketball League of Canada was created in 2011, but it was a completely different organization, which shared only the same abbreviation: NBL Canada.
