Regular Season Round 7: Syracuse S. - Sudbury F. 117-104

Date: March 18, 2022
An interesting game for Stallions (1-1) which hosted in Syracuse 3rd placed Five (3-6). First ranked Stallions managed to get a 13-point victory 117-104. Stallions made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian point guard Christian Nobles (175-1992, college: USC Aiken) who led the winners and scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) accounted for 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. American power forward Zena Edosomwan (206-1993, college: Harvard) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and the other American import center Evan Harris (206-1986, college: Harvard) added 15 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Five in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Five's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Stallions went down to second position due to points difference. Five lost their third game in a row. They keep the third place with six games lost. Stallions will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Five will play against Windsor Express and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
