No shocking result in a game in Syracuse where Stallions defeated Five 94-88 on Sunday. Stallions made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Five turnovers. Strangely Five outrebounded Stallions 52-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. Canadian point guard Christian Nobles (175-1992, college: USC Aiken) scored 32 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Robertson attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball. Stallions' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Zena Edosomwan (206-1993, college: Harvard) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Dexter Williams (193, college: UMW) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Five players scored in double figures. Stallions will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Five will play against Windsor Express and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
