Guard Travon Howard (188, college: Tiffin) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Chris Darrington (185-1997, college: Toledo) contributed with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward Zena Edosomwan (206-1993, college: Harvard) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jason Calliste (170-1990, college: Oregon) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Five. Five Glass City and four Five players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Glass City will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Five will play on the road against Windsor Express and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
