Gallegos' 23 points and 8 assists give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Point guard Charity Gallegos (165-PG) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Bay Area Phoenix and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had the game-high 23 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Phoenix in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Riptide (#7, 2-5) with 46-point margin 110-64. It allowed Phoenix to consolidate first place in the WPBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Phoenix keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Gallegos had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Phoenix, through which she has constantly improved. University of North Alabama graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gallegos is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 52.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Isabella Mauricio (163-G) of Bay City Blaze. She is a guard in her first season at Blaze. In the last game Mauricio recorded an impressive 36 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she led Blaze to another comfortable win 95-76 over the lower-ranked Royals (#6, 2-5) being unquestionably team leader. Blaze's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Mauricio is one of the most experienced players at Blaze and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.9ppg (#8). She also registered 4.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Blaze's star - guard Ameela Li (168-G-1997). Li showcased her all-around game by recording 25 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Bay City Blaze, helping her team with a 95-76 easy win against the lower-ranked Royals (#6, 2-5). Blaze needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Li has a great season in WPBA. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.8apg (best passer).
