Oakland Swish celebrate WPBA title - Aug 9, 2022

Oakland Swish are 2022 WPBA champions. They came out victorious against the Alameda Mystics in the Final. It was a close battle that was decided in the overtime. Oakland enjoyed a narrow lead late in regulation 76-74 but the hosts sank two free throws to send the game into the extra period. The Swish however proved strong at the end clinching a narrow 82-80 victory.
Swish dismantled San Francisco Riptide 101-62, while Alameda Mystics took care of Bay City Trailblazers 96-63 in the respective semifinal clashes.
