Bay City Blaze celebrated 2024 title. They overcame Alameda Wolves 87-75 in the Final game.
In the Semifinals Wolves edged Phoenix 85-73. Rebecca Harris (5'8''-G-1986, college: Illinois) stepped up with 33 points and 11 rebounds.
Bay City Blaze meanwhile edged Royals 102-91. Doris Jones (5'9''-G-1998, college: UCSB) led the way with 33 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Iimar'I Thomas (5'10''-G/F-2000), 23-year old swingman from Alameda Wolves, was named the Player of the Year at the Premier Basketball Association. She graduated from the UCLA two years ago. Thomas received multiple other awards, was voted the Guard of the Year, Forward of the Year and was selected to the First Team. With Thomas' excellent performance, the Alameda Wolves achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 7 to 1 in the regular season. Her best performance made her team reach the final but they lost against Blaze 75 to 87. She was the Player of the Week honoree 9 times during the 24 campaign. Thomas led the WPBA in points per game with over 32. Her 46 points against the Riptide were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
The standout Canadian guard Ameela Li (5'6''-G-1997) was selected as the Finals MVP of the championship-winning Bay City Blaze. She is the Pacific alumna from 2019. Li was also chosen to the First Team. She helped Li's team have an undefeated season as Bay City Blaze was not challenged in the league with a perfect 8 to 0 in the regular season. Li's excellent performance assisted her team in beating the Wolves 87 to 75 in the final. She was previously named to the Second Team back in 2022 and First Team last year. Li's exceptional play earned her the second spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of over 25. Li's 36 points against the Riptide were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Erica McCall (6'3''-F/C-1995), 28-year old power forward from Bay Area Phoenix, was honored as the Rookie of the Year of Premier Basketball Association. She is ex-Stanford from 2017. McCall also earned a spot in the First Team. She logged 17 points per game that season in the league. McCall led the WPBA in rebounds per game with almost 15. She has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 6 games on the year. McCall's 23 points against the Reign were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
