Gray number one in WPBA for round 4

Reshanda Gray (192-C/F-1993, agency: LBM Management) had a great game in the last round for Bay City Blaze, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while her team crushed Swish (#4, 2-2) with 20-point margin 100-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Blaze maintains the 3rd position in WPBA . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Blaze will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Gray had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Blaze, through which she has constantly improved. Former University of California star has very solid stats this year. Gray is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.5ppg. Gray is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 13.5rpg) and averages impressive 66.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Rebecca Harris (173-G-1986) of league's second-best Alameda Wolves. Harris had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Wolves was edged by league's leader Phoenix (#1, 4-0) 93-89. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Wolves still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Harris is one of the most experienced players at Wolves and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.5ppg (#3). Her other stats are also decent: 10.3rpg and 3.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Delia Moore (170-G) of league's top team Bay Area Phoenix. Moore showcased her all-around game by recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Phoenix, leading her team to a 93-89 win against #2 ranked Wolves. Phoenix started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Moore turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Moore has a great season in WPBA. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.0apg (5th best).

7. Kaylin Randhawa (188-G) of Blaze - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Iimar'I Thomas (178-G/F-2000) of Wolves - 24 points and 7 rebounds
9. Mo Bennett (177-F/G-1990) of Reign - 11 points and 9 rebounds
10. Ameela Li (168-G-1997) of Blaze - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
