Onyiah's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Forward Ugonne Onyiah (190-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Alameda Wolves and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while her team edged out Swish (#4, 2-1) 95-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Wolves is placed at 2nd position in WPBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Wolves already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Onyiah just recently signed at Wolves, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California graduate has very impressive stats this year. Onyiah is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.0rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 62.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Reshanda Gray (192-C/F-1993, agency: LBM Management) of Bay City Blaze. She is a in her first season at Blaze. In the last game Gray recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Blaze to another comfortable win outscoring Reign (0-3) 84-61. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Gray is one of the most experienced players at Blaze and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#2). She also registered 11.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Erica McCall (190-F/C-1995) of league's leader Bay Area Phoenix. McCall scored 18 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Phoenix, leading her team to a 86-76 win against Royals (#6, 1-2). Phoenix started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. McCall turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. McCall has a great season in WPBA. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 15.7rpg (#1 in league).
