Iimar'I Thomas (178-G/F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Alameda Wolves and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 24-year old swingman had a double-double of 35 points and 18 rebounds, while her team beat Titans (#4, 4-3) 94-86. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Wolves maintains the 2nd position in WPBA . They are still close to the very top. Wolves would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Thomas had a remarkable 60.9% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Wolves, through which she has constantly improved. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Thomas is league's best scorer averaging so far 32.7ppg. Thomas is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 11.5rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 65.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Mali guard Rokia Doumbia (175-G-1999) of Berkeley Royals. Doumbia impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Royals lost that game 73-90 to slightly higher-ranked Swish (#5, 3-4). This loss caused Royals to drop to 6th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Royals managed to get this year. Doumbia is one of the most experienced players at Royals and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Myah Pace (180-G-1998) of top-ranked Bay City Blaze. Pace showcased her all-around game by recording 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Blaze, leading her team to a 98-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Reign (#7, 1-6). Blaze have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Pace turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Pace has a great season in WPBA. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.9apg (9th best).

8. Brandy Huffhines (168-G) of Titans - 31 points and 2 assists
9. Ameela Li (168-G-1997) of Blaze - 17 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists
10. Jazmine Jackson (178-G) of Wolves - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
