Royals land Alexis Gray-Lawson

Berkeley Royals tabbed experienced 37-year old 5-8 point guard Alexis Gray-Lawson (college: California). The last time (2020-2021) she played at Oakland Warriors (WUBA). Gray-Lawson missed last three seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
In 2010 she was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in third round (30th overall).
The former University of California star is in her 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
She has played also professionally in Israel (Ramat Hasharon and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion), Turkey (Samsun) and WNBA (Seattle Storm and Phoenix Mercury). Gray-Lawson's team was regular season runner-up in Pac-2010 in 2008 and 2009.
Among many awards she was voted Usbasket.com All-WUBA National League Guard of the Year back in 2020.
It may be one of last seasons in her extensive career, which she may end at Royals.
