Maranne Johnson (ex Customs) is a newcomer at Reign

Maranne Johnson

Hayward Reign strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old 5-7 guard Maranne Johnson (college: Sacramento State) for season 2024. Johnson moved there from Customs in Nigerian D1 league where she started the season.
She has played also professionally in Cyprus (Anagennises), Greece (Melissia) and WUBA (NorCal Raiders).
Among many awards she won WUBA National League Western Conference championship title in 2020. Johnson was voted to WUBA All-Star Game back in 2020.
She graduated from Sacramento State in 2018 and it is her sixth season in pro basketball.
