Madison Michelis
Guard Alexsis Brown (170-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Swish, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The player had a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Valkyrie (#8, 0-5) with 30-point margin 116-86. Swish is placed at 2nd position in WPBA. They are still close to the very top. Swish would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 57.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Swish, through which she has constantly improved. Former California State University Maritime Academy star has very solid stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.6rpg) and averages impressive 2.2spg.
The second best player in last round's games was another Swish's star - Madison Michelis (180-F/G). Michelis had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 19 rebounds. Of course together with Brown she helped Swish with another comfortable win outscoring Valkyrie (#8, 0-5) 116-86. This victory allowed Swish to move up to second position in the standings. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Michelis is one of the most experienced players at Swish and similarly like Alexsis Brown has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was forward Aquira Decosta (185-F-2000) of Phoenix (#3). Decosta scored 26 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Decosta's great performance Phoenix lost 81-88 to the lower-ranked Riptide (#6, 2-3). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Phoenix needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Decosta has a great season in WPBA. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.8ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 10.0rpg (5th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
