Harris number one in WPBA for round 1 (by Hoops Agents)- June 8, 2023
The 36-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, four rebounds) to her team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Royals (#7, 0-1) with 24-point margin 79-55. Wolves is placed at 4th position in WPBA. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Wolves won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Harris had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. She just recently signed at Wolves and it was her first game, where she immediately became new team's leader. Former University of Illinois star has very solid stats this year. Harris is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.0ppg. Harris is in league's top in and averages impressive 5.0spg and 50.0% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was Riley Friauf (185-F) of league's leader Phoenix. Friauf had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Phoenix to another comfortable win outscoring Blaze (0-1) 90-68. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Friauf is one of the most experienced players at Phoenix and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was another Phoenix's star - guard Brittney Cedeno (173-G). Cedeno scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. She was another key player of Phoenix, helping her team with a 90-68 easy win against Blaze (#5, 0-1). Phoenix has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Cedeno also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Cedeno as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader. Other top performing players last week: 4. Kayla Moutry (175-G-1999) of Riptide - 15 points and 11 rebounds 5. Jasmine King (168-G) of Riptide - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
