Rachel Howard (ex Alcobendas) joins Oakland Swish

Oakland Swish agreed terms with 27-year old guard Rachel Howard (5'10''-1995, college: USF) for new 2023 season. Howard moved there from Vantage Towers Alcobendas in Spanish LF Challenge. In 30 games she was league's third best scorer with impressive 15.5ppg and averaged 5.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (4 times).
Howard has played previously professionally in Greece (AO Eleutheria Moshatou) and Luxembourg (Contern).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team was regular season runner-up in Spanish LF2 Group B in 2021. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Guard of the Year in 2022.
Howard graduated from University of San Francisco in 2017 and it is her sixth season as a professional player.
