London-Lightning (NBL Canada) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American point guard Jordan Burns (180cm-79kg-1997, college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) for season 2022-23. It is actually his comeback to London Lightning as he has played here before. Burns started the season at Caledonia Gladiators in British BBL league. In 9 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 1.1rpg, 4.3apg and 1.6spg.
He is quite experienced player. Burns has played also professionally in Bulgaria (Beroe), Poland (Twarde Pierniki), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Maine Celtics) and The Basketball Tournament (Ex Pats). His team won Patriot League Tournament in 2019 and 2021.
He was voted All-Patriot League Player of the Year in 2021.
Burns graduated from Colgate University in 2021 and it is his second season as a professional player.
