Windsor Express sign Jason Calliste

Windsor-Express (NBL Canada) signed 32-year old naturalized Jamaican point guard Jason Calliste (170cm-78kg-1990, college: Oregon) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Calliste played last season at Sudbury Five. In 24 NBLCanada games he had 14.9ppg, 4.6rpg and 2.6apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Calliste is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Latvia (Barons Riga), Spain (Palencia), NBA G League (Maine Celtics) and Canada (Moncton Magic and Titans). Calliste won NBL Canada Atlantic Division championship title in 2019 and 2020.
He was voted to Latvian League All-Star Game back in 2016.
Calliste graduated from University of Oregon in 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
