The 2017-18 regular season is underway in the American Professional Basketball League with 13 teams competing. Beltway Bombers are the defending league champions.
Five new teams have been added to the league this season: Eastern Shore Generals, Empire State Basketball Club, New York Badgers, Philadelphia Stunnaz and Unbreakable Talent NYC. The league also welcome back two-time champion New Jersey Thunder, who sat out last season.
Of the newcomers, Eastern Shore Generals are off to the best start winning their opening two games. In the season opener the Generals downed APBL United, last years runner up 105-103. Week 2 saw a big performance from Curt Chandler with 42 points to help his team defeat the Philadelphia Stunnaz 128-92.
