Allstars are APBL champions - May 6, 2014

The Metropolitan All-Stars are your 2014 APBL champions

"we waited a whole summer to get back to this point and was not going to have the same outcome as last year" owner and player Calvin Brown (6'9''-C-83, college: Norfolk St.) jr said. We were hungry and had 14 players that all feed into what the coach was telling us. "Nobody was but above the team and our mission. We had players deciding not to leave the country and play abroad because they wanted this chip and when you have players that put the team first and give 100 percent for their teammates nothing can stop you of your goals." This was proven true after Metropolitan won their second championship in 3 years going 18-2 this season. "We had a tough schedule played a lot of good teams, learned from our mistakes and put together a championship season. Now we have to go back in a lab and start working on the next chapter" said coach Brown who is the current coach of the year. The Metropolitan all-stars beat the NYC 524 team with a final score of 95-74
